The Magazine
Exhale Press is a new print magazine built around a couple of simple objectives.
First, we aimed to fill it with the very best in adventure, wellbeing, and outdoors-focused content. Content that’s going to make you want to get outside and get amongst it, paired with some really mind-blowing photography.
Second, we wanted it to be accessible. You won’t find people in here who are chasing podiums for the sake of it, or biohacking their way into unsustainable lifestyles. What you will find are insights, interviews and stories from people who live balanced, intentional lives, and just happen to do some pretty extraordinary things too.
This magazine captures so much of what I always hoped Exhale could become. Not just great coffee, but something that inspires people to get outside, feel good and live a more adventurous life.

Deliciously Analogue
So, why a magazine and why now?
It kind of all comes back to having a coffee. Everything we do, from sourcing and roasting to freshness, is about making that moment count. A chance to pause, breathe, and slow things down.
This is much the same philosophy we had with the magazine. By bringing together engaging, insightful content, we wanted to create something you’d genuinely enjoy and be fully present for. The print format helps with that, naturally slowing things down and encouraging more time with what’s inside. Our very deliberate alternative to the dreaded doom scroll.
Pair it with the coffee, and you’re definitely having a good day.

A glimpse inside issue #1…

Living on the Edge
Having spent a big part of her life travelling to some of the planet’s most remote regions, the concept of “home” is an abstract one for ethnographic photographer, Cat Vinton. In our interview with Cat, we find out what drives her to live amongst and document some of the world’s most vulnerable tribal communities.

Climbing Blind
Most climbers rely on sight to read the rock they’re attempting to climb. Jesse Dufton doesn’t have that luxury. Born severely visually impaired and now completely blind, the elite British climber tackles some of the world’s most demanding routes through less conventional means, relying instead on touch, instinct, and the steady guidance of his climbing partner.
By doing hard things in a way that is manageable, with our own volition, and in a way that’s met with curiosity, joy and an air of non-striving, we can truly rewire our resilience to life's stresses.

Five Ancient Practices
Exhale Coffee’s Chief Science Officer, medical doctor and nutritionist Dr Rupy Aujla explains how introducing five small intentional discomforts into your day-to-day life allows your body to tune itself back into its evolutionary rhythm.

Taking on the World’s Biggest Waves
Careening down the face of 60ft+ Atlantic waves on a regular basis might not sound like the healthiest pursuit to you or I. But to big wave surfer Andrew Cotton, it’s a career path that has opened many doors, and satiated his love for calculated risk in some of the most powerful and breathtaking big wave spots on Earth.
