Terms and FAQs

How you are rewarded:

Receive an email an hour after your friend orders.
Your credits appear in your account.
Toggle 'Auto-apply' to use the credits for your next subscription order.
You can also use your credits on any brewing kit by adding it to your next subscription order.

How can I claim my free gift?

Follow these steps:

Log into your account
Click 'Manage your subscription'
Scroll down to the 'You may also like' section
Click 'Add' to add the right free gift for your tier
In your next order details, click 'Add discount'
Enter the code you'll be emailed to discount to £0

Can I exchange my credits for cash?

Afraid not, store credits can't be swapped for any other currency. Credits can only be used in your online account and applied to your next subscription orders (which can include coffee or kit). Please do get in touch on hey@exhalecoffee.com if you're having any issues.

Is it for subscribers only?

I'm afraid the referral program is currently only open to coffee subscribers due to limitations of the tech we're using.

My friend took a free trial, will I be rewarded?

Free trials or any free orders by your friends won't count towards this referral programme.

That's why we're offering an awesome 50% off their first subscription order when using your unique code.

It's a much better deal for your friend as gram per gram, they're getting 3x the amount of coffee for free! Or more if they subscribe to 2 or more bags at once.

I didn't get an email with my free gift

Sorry about that! Please do double check your Spam / Junk folders. Your reward email should arrive an hour after your friend makes their purchase.

This is our first referral programme in a while so we really appreciate your patience while we iron out the kinks!

50% discount is based on the frequency of your current subscription up to a maximum of 1 bag weekly.
Shipping excluded.
Half of your referred friends must take at least 1 full priced subscription order to prevent programme fraud.
Referred friends must all live at different addresses.
Free trials and one time orders do not count towards referral tiers.
50% saving is off the RRP, i.e. For 450g of House Roast the RRP is £20 so you pay £10.
This is at our discretion and if foul play is suspected we reserve the right to not award the discount without reason.

Can I change the free gifts?

If you'vealready bought the free gifts from us you can swap for something else of similar value on our site, excluding coffee.

If you don't want the free gifts you don't have to take them. They get unlocked in your account but you don't have to claim them. But I'm afraid we're not able to swap them for cash or coffee.
