Exhale Stainless Steel Cafetière - Black
Kirsty and Alex have been using this cafetière for years and love it's durability.
We have been through several types of cafetières now and have decided to go for the fully stainless steel option as, like most people, we've just broken too many replacement glasses. Hopefully this wonderful cafetière will last a lifetime.
Cafetières are super easy to use, and have a special place in our hearts as we did our antioxidant lab tests on coffee brewed in a cafetière.

Better for you - yep, they're better for your health! Two of the healthiest compounds in coffee, cafestol and kahweol, are fat soluble. So, they're transported in the oils that are released as coffee brews. Paper filters are so dense they remove 98% of those oils, taking with them the wonderful cafestol and kahweol. Whereas the steel filter of a cafetière is the perfect size to let them all through.

Capacity: 1000ml, 3-4 mugs or 350ml, 1 mug
Method:
- For 1 cup add 15-17g of medium ground coffee (3 heaped tsp) to a small cafetiere
- Fill with hot water 30 seconds off the boil
- Stir after 30 seconds
- Plunge after a total of 5 minutes (or you can sneak in an extra 30-60 seconds for a stronger brew) – So simple!
